Gallery 360 is excited to announce our much-awaited contemporary glass exhibit featuring the innovative art talent of Danté Germain. This exhibition entitled Floe is inspired by water and its many physical properties expressed through the time-honored skill of glassblowing. Germain, known for pushing boundaries within his artform, exhibits both functional vessel forms and sculptural wall-hangings steeped in conceptual irony and playfulness. A flowing installation of water inspired glass pours effortlessly from an ordinary pipe fitting secured to the walls of the gallery. While an installation of broken blown glass particles re-form to create a modular series of organic formations not unlike a hanging pathway of ice over a lake. Prepare to be blown away by an entirely unique experience within the world of glass.
